HOW ARE WE HELPING HONDURAS?

In August, 2025, Friends United received a $1000 donation from Sustainable Hope, a nonprofit organization founded by Ken and Jean Brookens. The donation will be used to purchase 2 Cricut machines to put in two of our Teacher Resource Centers. These machines help teachers create custom, engaging learning materials and a positive classroom environment through precise cutting of various materials like paper, vinyl, and iron-on. This saves teachers time on repetitive tasks, enhances organization with personalized labels and signs, and fosters hands-on learning and skill development for students.
