What We Do

Friends United in Education, Inc. (FUE) is a nonprofit organization, founded in 1987, dedicated to advancing education by supporting teachers and schools in Honduras. Its primary function is to strengthen the teaching profession by providing resources, training, and encouragement that help educators improve classroom learning outcomes. FUE works to:

• Support Teachers – equipping them with tools, strategies, and opportunities for professional growth.
• Promote Education – advocating for quality teaching as the foundation of student success.
• Foster Community Partnerships – engaging individuals, businesses, and organizations to invest in teachers and education initiatives.
• Provide Resources – offering workshops, books, and collaborative projects that directly benefit educators and students.

In short, FUE functions as a bridge between communities and schools in Honduras, ensuring
that teachers have the support they need to inspire and educate the next generation.
